In the course of the business field projects, the students from the Bachelor’s programs in Corporate Communication and Marketing & Sales at FHWien der WKW are supported by the Competence Center for Leadership & Social Skills in matters of teamwork.
In the 6th semester, the students from the Bachelor’s programs in Corporate Communication and Marketing & Sales are faced with the exciting task of developing communication and marketing concepts for real clients in small groups in the course of a business field project. During the intensive processing phase for these real assignments, they are coached by the Competence Center for Leadership & Social Skills in teamwork & group dynamics within the module Social Skills 2.
The core of the lecture, which took place in both an online and a face-to-face setting in the summer semester of 2022, was to accompany the cohorts during the business field project over the entire semester and thus to enable them to experience the essential competencies of teamwork processes in an application-oriented manner.
With full commitment and very good reflection skills, the teams dealt with topics such as team roles, conflict types and team development phases directly in connection with their current project collaboration.
At the end of the lecture, all teams presented their experiences with regard to the respective acquisition of competencies to the lecturers in a final presentation and discussed them afterwards.
