Starting from January 2020 you can apply for a study program at FHWien der WKW, which start in autumn 2020. You will find all important information about the deadlines as soon as possible on this website.
You will receive your personal login data via e-mail once you have registered. With the login data, you will have access to our online application form. This form should be printed out once you have filled it out.
You will need various copies of documents as well as your printed and signed application form. You can find out which documents need to be filled out and what your letter of motivation should contain in the checklist for Bachelor’s students.
Applicants with a foreign degree must have their documents translated into German or English by a court certified translator. The relevant rules of certification for your country can be found here Beglaubigungsliste Hochschulwesen des BMBWF (in German). Determining the equivalence of certificates/degrees from foreign countries can take up to three weeks. For this reason we recommend that you send in the relevant documentation in a timely manner.
Chinese applicants have the possibility to use the academic test center in Peking (APS Peking). All documents required for admissions can be authenticated there. Appointments take place once a semester within an examination week. Details can be found by clicking on the following link (in German and Mandarin): More details.
Applicants from Egypt should apply at the Austrian embassy in Cairo.
Together with a printout of the application form, all application documents (loose, not stuck together in any way) should be sent by mail to:
FHWien der WKW
Währinger Gürtel 97
The postmark is used as proof of the date of mailing.
Once we have received your documents, you will receive an e-mail requesting that you log in and choose a date for your test. The computer-based test lasts for approximately three hours. Please choose a date that suits you (test dates are offered on a first come – first served basis). For organizational reasons it is not possible to change the date of your test.

Information about the duration of the test:
