FHWien der WKW is Austria’s leading university of applied sciences for management and communication. Working in close contact with Austrian corporations, FHWien der WKW offers comprehensive and practice-oriented academic programs to over 2,800 Bachelor’s and Master’s students.

Close cooperation with business

Two thirds of our teaching staff have a background in business. Our programs are tailored to the needs of companies, optimally preparing our graduates – around 14,400 to date – for their future careers.

FHWien der WKW works closely with businesses in diverse industries on numerous projects. Our students must complete an internship, which helps them to put their acquired knowledge into practice.

Our study programs

We offer practice-oriented Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs. The majority of the Bachelor’s programs are available either part-time or full-time, while all Master’s degree programs are offered on a part-time basis.

Our portfolio also includes continuing education programs which are offered by the Vienna Management Academy by FHWien der WKW. These programs allow people with professional experience to gain an academic degree (BA (CE), MA (CE), MSc, MBA) or complete the continuing education program as an Academic Expert.

Studying part-time or full-time at FHWien der WKW

Over 50% of our study programs can be attended part-time. Thus, in just a few semesters, people who work can earn an academic degree. Classes take place mainly in the evenings during the week, but also at the weekend.
