In 2024 we celebrate eventful 30 years of FHWien der WKW with joy and pride. When FHWien der WKW was founded in 1994 as one of the first universities of applied sciences in Austria, it began with the ambitious intention of providing students with the best possible professional support as a reliable partner. At the same time, the economy and the location of Vienna were to be strengthened by competent and responsibly trained people. We have remained true to these intentions to this day.
Study real business: In accordance with this principle, we at FHWien der WKW have been cultivating a lively exchange with business for 30 years. As specialists and managers, they always have their finger on the pulse of the times, are familiar with current challenges and contribute their knowledge and experience to the competence development of more than 2,800 students. In addition, a variety of practical projects with various companies as well as mandatory internships complement our curricula.
