Attention: Different opening hours might apply during holidays.
Please be aware that is not possible to borrow and return books when the library is closed. During this time the library does not send any notices or reminders.
We reserve the right to make changes to the opening hours.
Please note the information and current news of the library on Moodle (only accessible to active students, lecturers and staff of FHWien der WKW).
Lendings & Returns
- Number of books: You may borrow up to 15 books at a time.
- Loan period: 28 days, with the option to renew for an additional 28 days. The maximum loan period is 6 months, provided the books are not on hold. Renewals can be made through the online catalog, by email or by phone.
- Check-out and return during library hours directly with the library staff.
- Returns outside of opening hours: Please use the pickup station next to the library in room A 006. Press “Zustellen” on the screen and enter bibliothek@fh-wien.ac.at. Then place the book or books in the open compartment and close it.
- Pickup outside of opening hours: Pre-order via email. Depending on the volume of orders, it may take some time to process your request. For more information, see the “Library” course on Moodle.
