Students from five partner universities were guests at FHWien der WKW for a week to work together with students from Corporate Communication and Marketing & Sales on campaigns for the launch of the new Philadelphia Plant-Based.
Once a year, six students from the Bachelor’s programs in Corporate Communication and Marketing & Sales at FHWien der WKW are given the opportunity to take part in a project on Cross Border Brand Communication (CBBC). The annually rotating “CBBC-Week” is organized together with the partner universities AP Hogeschool (Belgium), Breda University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), Haaga-Helia (Finland), Sup de Pub (France) and Universidade Católica (Portugal). This year, the international week took place at FHWien der WKW and was organized by Hilda Helyes, Competence Center for Marketing.
Students impress with a professional pitch
35 students from a total of six countries spent a week working on international campaigns for the market launch of the new Philadelphia Plant-Based from Mondelez. They incorporated the results of the market research they had previously conducted in their own countries and worked in mixed international teams to design launch campaigns for the client Mondelez. They received specialist input from keynotes on strategy, creativity and storytelling. In the final presentations to the Mondelez team Lisa Dorbandt, Andrea Matic and Maximilian Zeller and the jury of lecturers Ann Gemoets, Anna Vähäsalo, Arnoud Versluis, Gilles Nakhle and Alexandre Duarte, Hilda Helyes and Sieglinde Martin, the student teams impressed with their professional presentations, creative ideas and feasible packages of measures. The best concept received an award.
The social program ranged from a get-together in a beer tavern, a daily breakfast and lunch together at FHWien der WKW to a joint dinner in a restaurant. The CBBC Week was funded as part of an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP).
