The path to your dream degree program at FHWien der WKW begins with a clearly structured admissions process. If you are well prepared, you have the best chance of securing one of the coveted places. But how does the whole process actually work?
What requirements do I need to fulfill for a Bachelor’s program?
Before you can even begin, you must meet the admission requirements, i.e., have a general university entrance qualification. In addition to the Matura/Abitur, other qualifications that meet this requirement are listed in detail here: Admission requirements for Bachelor’s Programs.
How exactly does the Bachelor’s admissions procedure work? 📝
Here you will find step-by-step instructions:
1. Online application
The application phase begins at the start of January. Applications are submitted via the online application tool, including all necessary documents such as a scan of your high school diploma, passport, etc. Important: Applicants with degree certificates from a third country must have their documents translated and certified, and the application deadline ends earlier.
2. Computer-based admissions test
The next part of the admissions process is the computer-based admissions test, an online test covering the following areas:
🧠Logical-deductive thinking
🗣️ Verbal comprehension
🔢 Numerical reasoning
🌍 Knowledge of the English language
The total test duration is a maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Including the introductory section and identity verification, a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes are required.
Tip: Practice the online admissions test in advance 🧠💻
If you want to know what to expect from the computer-based admissions test, you can take the sample test offered by FHWien der WKW.
