Students of the Bachelor’s program in Corporate Communication at FHWien der WKW developed communication solutions for an innovative support model in the field of mental health.
How can digital therapy support be communicated in a trustworthy, effective, and human way? Students in the part-time Bachelor’ program in Corporate Communication (3rd semester) addressed this question in their first business field project during the 2025/26 winter semester. They were commissioned by Companicus to communicate a digital therapy support concept to key target groups. Companicus is a health project by IfAM GmbH that combines an app-based application with personal support, thus ensuring continuity of care after diagnosis.
Holistic communication concepts for relevant target groups
Based on analyses of daily processes in the healthcare sector and Companicus’ current market and business environment, the students developed several structured communication concepts, ranging from positioning to concrete measures. The focus was particularly on doctors and therapy assistants. Leyla Tavernaro-Haidarian, Academic Expert & Lecturer at FHWien der WKW, and communications expert Sonja Himmer supported the student in the concept development as coaches.
Final presentations impress Companicus
The results were presented to the Companicus management team in mid-December 2025 at the final presentation at FHWien der WKW. Veronika Stenzel, Medical Devices Manager and Head of the Creative Team at Companicus, explained:
“It is impressive to see how much commitment young people put into developing creative ideas and concrete solutions, while at the same time working them out in a scientifically sound and structured manner. It is precisely this combination of creativity and technical depth that makes the results particularly valuable to us.”
