Demographic change and a shortage of skilled workers are influencing the world of work. New ideas and approaches are needed to find, retain and insure the long-term loyalty of employees. Our third-year Master’s students are investigating this topic on behalf of Caritas Steiermark

The interest of the students at the start of the project was great. Dr. Markus Riegler and his colleague Josef Url, Communication & Fundraising Service Centre Manager, gave insights into the current situation and were available to answer questions about the background of the project.

In small groups, the students will develop employer branding & onboarding concepts to strengthen employee loyalty and attractiveness as an employer for Caritas Steiermark.

In the winter semester 2019, the groups will carry out research, conduct interviews with existing and potential employees, compile best practice examples and incorporate the results into their concepts with their own ideas.

The project groups will be supervised by Brigitte Hampel (from the Human Resources & Organization Study Programs) and Barbara Covarrubias Venegas.
