On April 16 and 30, 2021 a series of lectures took place as part of our specialization “Family Business” of the Bachelor’s program “Entrepreneurship – Management” at FHWien der WKW. Those lectures were hold by our graduates Doris Ploner & Peter Fetz.
Ms. Ploner is a partner/managing director of “die Käsemacher”. In her mid-30s, she already runs a medium-sized company with 170 employees. Peter Fetz is a hotelier with heart and soul. He owns one of the most famous hotels in the Bregenzerwald called “der Hirschen” . With their stories, both of them led to very touching but also funny moments.
Doris Ploner gave uncensored and very open insights into how her takeover took place and what she would do differently now. Peter Fetz chatted charmingly about his recipe for success and led our students virtually through the hotel directly to the bar! These two showed our 6th semester students what can be achieved with courage, ambition and knowledge.
