Performance skills and staging in the Bachelor’s program Corporate Communication

February 14, 2025

Students of the Bachelor’s program in Corporate Communication learn professional (online) staging in their very first semester.

In the first semester of the Bachelor’s program in Corporate Communication, presentation techniques, interaction and body language are trained and developed in the “Social Skills” module. This also includes a focus on the professional online staging of content. The students are supported by the lecturer team of the Competence Center for Leadership & Social Skills, Gabriele Schöberl, Bettina Eibler and Gerald Kolar.

At the final event at the end of January, the students from the first semester put their know-how they had acquired to the test. The future communication generalists enriched their presentations with storytelling and the use of creative media changes and patterns. The diverse topics ranged from innovative apps for job search & environment, fashion, safe straw, courage box, specific social awareness, hygiene products to women’s health, personalized persona play as well as sustainability and organic products.

A team of moderators chosen by the students led through the events with creative ideas. In the ensuing discussion with the jury members, all groups demonstrated their argumentative agility. The students impressed in the areas, from presentation techniques to body language as well as staging. These are the ideal prerequisites for the upcoming business field projects!
