On Friday, November 21, the Tourism & Hospitality Management Study Programs hosted a Meet & Eat Alumni Gathering. Around 70 former students from three graduating classes accepted the invitation. Several anniversaries were celebrated: 20 years since the 2005 graduating class received their diplomas, 10 years since the 2015 graduating classes received their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and 4 years since the 2021 graduating class received their degrees.
The evening began with a warm welcome from Academic Expert & Lecturer Daniela Wagner, who was delighted to see so many familiar faces again. During the evening, the participants introduced themselves, quickly revealing how diverse and individual the graduates’ career paths are today – from management positions in the hotel industry to destination management and completely different fields outside of tourism.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the evening ended with lively conversations and many “do you remember?” moments. The alumni meeting showed once again how close the connection between former students and the field of study has remained – and how valuable this community is for exchange and the industry.
