In the category “Master’s theses at universities of applied sciences”, graduates of the Master’s program in Communication Management at FHWien der WKW were awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.
On June 11, 2025, the Franz Bogner Science Award for PR was presented in the ballroom of the Federation of Austrian Industries. Three Master’s theses by graduates of the Master’s program in Communication Management were awarded in the category “Master’s theses at universities of applied sciences”.
Anna-Lena Oberhofer was awarded first prize for her Master’s thesis “Polyphony in internal communication in the context of integrated communication: A qualitative study on the tension between consistency and inconsistency in internal communication” (German title translated). The thesis was supervised by Sieglinde Martin, head of the study program and Head of Department of Communication at FHWien der WKW.
Melanie Swovoda was awarded 2nd prize for her master’s thesis “Internal CSR communication and corporate image – A quantitative study of the effect of internal CSR communication on corporate image, taking into account the moderating role of organizational identification” (German title translated). Simone Zwickl, Academic Expert & Lecturer in Strategic Communication Management at FHWien der WKW, supervised her thesis.
Noah Kramer was awarded 3rd prize for his Master’s thesis “Institutional Communication Management: Qualitative Analysis of the Public Relations Work of the Austrian Parliament Directorate” (German title translated). His thesis was supervised by Bettina Gneisz-Al-Ani, communications expert and lecturer at FHWien der WKW.
