July 15, 2021

While others are packing their suitcases, our students at the Bachelor’s program Digital Business Kurt Drexler, Therese Lemmerer, Florian Mörth and Petra Hopfgartner are developing a toolbox of customizable methods to support small- and medium-sized companies in their digital transformation processes.

SME Digitalization Project

The project is developing a holistic and sector-independent solution for SMEs, so they can enter the digital transformation process independently and in a well-founded manner. The goal is a guide that shows an individual path from the strategic positioning of an adapted business model to the development of digital roadmaps. Success stories will also find their place in the toolbox to show Austrian entrepreneurs the way to a digital future.

The project team is supported by external experts Jo Luick and Mag. Shirani Ediriweera, Dr. Rupert Nagler from the Information Design Institute and FH-Prof. Dr. Walter Mayrhofer from the Institute for Digital Transformation & Strategy at FHWien der WKW.

The project is funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) as part of the “Impact Innovation” program and is managed by the Institute for Digital Business.
