Study real business

Working in close contact with Austrian corporations, FHWien der WKW offers comprehensive and practice-oriented academic programs to over 2,800 Bachelor’s and Master’s students. The modern campus is located in the city center of Vienna and is easily reachable by public transport.

Close cooperation with business

Two thirds of our teaching staff have a background in business. Our programs are tailored to the needs of companies, optimally preparing our graduates for their future careers.

FHWien der WKW works closely with businesses on numerous projects. Our students must complete an internship, which helps them to put their acquired knowledge into practice.

Our Courses

We currently offer 19 Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs. The majority of the Bachelor’s programs are available either part-time or full-time, while all Master’s programs are offered on a part-time basis.

Our portfolio also includes 19 continuing education programs. These programs allow people with professional experience to gain an academic degree or to become an academic expert.

Tailor-made study programs for working people

Our Master’s degree programs are offered exclusively on a part-time basis. Most of the Bachelor’s degree programs can be taken part-time or full-time.

This enables us to support employees in their desire for further training and career development and it’s easy to bring under one roof while working.

Digitalization

Digitalization presents companies with major challenges in their search for employees who, in addition to business competence, also have digital qualifications. We are reacting to this trend and have updated and expanded the topic of digitalization in all degree programs.

In autumn 2019, the new part-time Bachelor’s degree program Digital Business has started. What is unique about it is that it combines digital technology with business applications.

Sustainability

FHWien der WKW has been a pioneer in the field of corporate responsibility since 2012. We were one of the first universities of applied sciences to include business ethics and corporate governance as compulsory subjects in the curricula of all Master’s programs.

In order to ensure that the relevant contents taught in the study programs and all scientific initiatives on the subject comply with internationally recognized standards, FHWien der WKW signed the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in 2015.

International

Employers attach more and more importance to international experience, intercultural skills and foreign language skills. Therefore, internationalization & mobility are primary goals of FHWien der WKW. Students gain experience abroad during:

  • Semesters abroad
  • Summer sessions
  • Internships
