May 8, 2018

“City of Vienna Competence team” publishes the findings of the literature review at respACT

What are the drivers for the implementation of corporate responsibility in SME? The team of the Competence Center for Corporate Governance & Business Ethics (CGBE) of the Research Cluster SMEs & Family Businesses at FHWien der WKW investigated this question. Four main issues have been identified:

1. Ethics and values of the founder, entrepreneur or managing director
2. Business environment and long-term development of the enterprise
3. Formal processes of CSR implementation
4. Political aspects in connection with CSR

Now that the first article, Introduction and Overview, has been published, four more will follow in the next few weeks, explaining the approaches of the individual drivers with their particular success factors and possible stumbling blocks.
