One Semester, 18 Practical Projects

July 5, 2018

In the summer term of 2018, students from the Management & Entrepreneurship study programs were once again involved in numerous practical projects with business partners.

Students from the Bachelor’s program management & entrepreneurship work together with well-known Austrian companies regularly, even while studying. In the summer term 2018, students worked on 18 business projects in total, where ten of the projects were carried out by 4th semester students during the module “Business Project Management & Entrepreneurship”, and the remaining eight by 6th semester students in the specializations controlling, human resource management and product management.

Thus the students solved real and relevant problems for partners from various industries and business areas. The range of partner companies was very diverse, including established corporations and businesses, start-ups and NGOs. For Kapsch Group for instance, the students generated ideas for implementing a sustainable employer-branding strategy for the generations Y and Z. For PrimeCrowd, another group of students came up with a business-plan for an incubator program in Columbia, and for the Red Cross Lower Austria, measures for regional branding were developed.

Further project partners of this year were:

•    Blackgold
•    BMF
•    Casinos Austria
•    Conda
•    Die Fairmittlerei
•    Herr und Frau Klein
•    IQ Mobile
•    MAN Truck & Bus Vertrieb
•    OEBB
•    Post
•    S+B
•    Syma
•    Vertriebsberatung der WKW
•    weXelerate
•    Zürich Versicherung

The multitude of projects underlines our strong business focus and the practical nature of our study program. We are happy about the close cooperation with the business world and about the successful projects completed this semester! We look forward to further cooperation and exciting projects in the future.
