On February 19, Head of Human Resources & Organization Study Programs Christina Schweiger and her team welcomed over 100 graduates of the Human Resources & Organization study programs to the Alumni Reunion. Former fellow students and lecturers came together, exchanged experiences, and looked ahead to the future of HR and organizational development.
One comment from the group summed up the mood: “It was because of the human aspect that I decided to study human resources management back then.” It was precisely this “human aspect” that characterized the mood of the evening.
Focus on future skills
But it wasn’t all about reminiscing. The alumni and their colleagues in the industry discussed which skills will be particularly in demand in the context of HR and OD over the next ten years.
There was also a premiere: the new videos about graduates’ career paths were shown to an audience for the first time that evening. Both bachelor’s and master’s alumni were asked to appear in front of the camera and talk about the highlights of their studies.
During the buffet that followed, participants deepened their conversations, made new contacts, and strengthened the alumni network.
The meeting showed how vibrant the connection between the university and its graduates still is, even many years after graduation. FHWien der WKW would like to thank all participants and looks forward to seeing them again.
