FHWien gave two presentations at renowned HR event

November 19, 2018

Barbara Covarrubias Venegas and Christina Schweiger from the Department of Management spoke about challenges in digital change projects.

This year´s “Zukunft Personal”, Austria´s biggest HR fair, focused on the working world of tomorrow with the motto “Re: // boost: HR – creating a new mindset!”. The main topic was the digitization of the working world and the associated opportunities and challenges. Digitalization, internationalization, flexible jobs – companies from all sectors are increasingly forced to abandon their old paths and to not only develop new ways of thinking and acting in addition to technology-driven innovations, but often to even develop completely new corporate cultures. This requires a profound change that is not easy to manage.

Barbara Covarrubias Venegas and Christina Schweiger gave a talk entitled “Change is hard, digital change even harder?”

Barbara Covarrubias Venegas was pleased to hold another presentation together with architect Denise Riesenberg on the subject of “Digitization, office spaces and leadership”. The presentation titled “Why architecture takes on an increasingly important status despite increasingly dislocated work!”, took the participants on a journey through moments of everyday working life that make people more productive, content and successful – and showed how architecture can influence work life.
