The City of Vienna Competence Team for the Digitalization of Communication presented the current trends around the topic of digitalization and the diverse study programs at FHWien der WKW.
On February 16, 2021, the City of Vienna Competence Team for the Digitalization of Communication presented to the students of the Vienna Business School Mödling not only the educational offerings of FHWien der WKW, but also its work around the exciting topic of digitalization under the leadership of Georg Feldmann. The online presentation took place in the context of school marketing, with a total of three 5th grade classes participating.
In the first presentation, the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs of FHWien der WKW were introduced. The students learned how prospective students can best inform themselves and apply for a study place. After a short Q&A session, the second presentation part followed: “Digitalization NOW! Why digital technologies are crucial for our future”. In it, the head of the competence team for the Digitalization of Communication made a foray around the exciting topics of digitalization: the power of algorithms, trends around AI, AR, 5G, but also ethical questions about a necessary “digital humanism” were covered and discussed.
The reactions to the two presentations were extremely positive on the part of the students!
