Since 2012, the Institute for Business Ethics and Sustainable Strategy (IBES) at FHWien der WKW has been organizing the “Responsible Management Lectures (RML): Ideas for Better Business”, which have become an important part of the teaching at FHWien der WKW in the field of business ethics, sustainability and corporate governance. Every semester, leading international experts from academia and the business sector present their perspectives on topics in these areas and discuss them with the audience.

In the 2024 summer semester, the central topic will be “Multi-stakeholder initiatives”.

Multi-stakeholder initiatives aim for a cooperative solution to complex social problems. They serve to better anchor CSR in the economy and promote sustainable development. In this way, multi-stakeholder initiatives help to strengthen corporate responsibility, respect human rights and promote environmental protection.

With the RML the IBES aims to initiate an interdisciplinary discourse on the future of our economic system with a focus on business and corporate ethics.
