Information events
At the information events on campus and online (from November to March), our staff will present our range of study programs and answer all your questions about studying, the admission process, career opportunities and much more.
Open House
Our Open House takes place in March. In addition to information events, you can take part in guided campus tours, attend open lectures and take the trial admissions test.

The Online Info Day takes place at the end of January/beginning of February, and the Online Master’s Day takes place in November, where you can find out everything about our range of study programs online.

Thanks to the high practical relevance of their study programs, graduates of universities of applied sciences are highly sought after on the job market. The top-quality education provided by universities of applied sciences is highly regarded by companies, and FH graduates are eagerly recruited because they are ready to start work immediately after graduation and score points with their sound specialist knowledge. During their studies, our students also establish initial contacts with companies through practical projects, guest lectures, excursions and mentoring programs and gain professional experience, e.g., through internships.

A Bachelor’s program at FHWien der WKW lasts 6 semesters (3 years) and a Master’s program lasts 4 semesters (2 years).
Thanks to fixed timetables and exam dates, the study program is very easy to plan and students can usually complete it within the standard period of study. The study programs are therefore particularly well suited to prospective students who prefer a structured and orderly approach.

Universities of applied sciences are known for their strong practical focus and close ties to the business world. Two-thirds of our lecturers come directly from the business world and bring valuable practical insights to the lecture hall. In addition to exciting practical projects, the curriculum also includes field trips, excursions, case studies and guest lectures. Our Bachelor’s programs also require students to complete a mandatory professional internship. Our students have already carried out practical projects with well-known companies such as the Red Cross, the XXXLutz Group, Procter & Gamble, Austrian Airlines, HOFER KG, Deloitte, TUI Austria, KPMG, the Austrian Bundesliga and many more.

The modern wko campus wien is located in the heart of Vienna and is easily accessible by bicycle and public transport. The U6 underground line, tram lines 40, 41, and 42 and bus lines 37A and 40A stop almost directly in front of the campus entrance. There are also two underground car parks available for short-term and long-term parking. Discount cards are available for students.
The campus has screens displaying an overview of current courses and floor plans of the lecture halls, so that students can always find their classrooms easily.
Students also have access to several comfortable lounge and study areas.

Yes, there is a café on the FHWien der WKW campus that sells snacks and drinks. There are also many supermarkets, snack bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the campus.

Under certain conditions, students are entitled to various forms of financial support (e.g. study grants, travel allowances, insurance contributions, childcare allowances) and scholarships (e.g., graduation scholarships, self-support scholarships). The ÖH FHWien is available to answer any questions you may have.
In accordance with the Study Grant Act, merit-based scholarships are also awarded each year for outstanding achievements in the previous academic year. The amount of the scholarships awarded is determined annually by the Federal Ministry of Science and Research and ranges from EUR 726.72 (double tuition fees) to EUR 1,500.00. Students are informed annually about the application and award process by mail.
