The Alumni&Co Workshop “Convince and Negotiate” with Hays Austria took place on October 16, 2018.
The workshop leaders Johann Halmdienst and Sydney Schlokat explained what really matters when selling and shared their experiences with the participants. It was especially exciting when Johann Halmdienst revealed tips and tricks from his daily work in key accounts. For example, the workshop participants learned how to use the objections and excuses of potential customers for a successful sales pitch and how to skillfully bypass the famous “antechamber”.
Finally, the Hays experts were able to convey to the participants that convincing and negotiating is all about asking the right questions and being able to remain silent. Because only those who listen can recognize the real needs of the customers.
As usual, many more questions were discussed and contacts were made at the get together which followed.
