The award-winning graduates include:

  • Max Cronauer, University for Continuing Education Krems
  • Isabelle Abfalterer, FH Kufstein
  • Magdalena Veselcic, FHWien der WKW
  • Marie Grimus, FH Wiener Neustadt
  • Raimund Kuess, TU Wien Academy for Continuing Education

Magdalena Veselcic received special recognition as the top student in the Real Estate Management program at FHWien der WKW. “With her dedication and outstanding academic performance, she impressively represents the high quality of education at FHWien der WKW in the field of real estate management,” said Klemens Braunisch, Head of Real Estate Study Programs, who personally congratulated the top student.

Best Master`s Thesis

In the category “Best Master’s Thesis,” Alexandra Heindl from the University for Continuing Education Krems impressed with her work “Decarbonization of Vienna’s Gründerzeit buildings from a sustainability perspective.” She prevailed against strong competitors, including Simon Strobl from FHWien der WKW. His master’s thesis, entitled “Effects of recent Supreme Court rulings on value guarantee agreements on the value of investment properties,” addressed a highly topical issue at the interface between law and real estate valuation.

Other nominees were:

  • Romana Gruber (Kufstein University of Applied Sciences): “Range of market value assessments: An empirical study on the valuation variance of a single-family home”
  • Alexander Hack (Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences): “The topic of resilience in Viennese urban development”
  • Leander Kiridus (TU Wien Academy for Continuing Education): “Job profile of an asset manager – An analysis of strategic and operational roles in real estate management”

Keynote speech about Leadership and networking

One of the highlights of the evening was Sascha Krammer’s keynote speech on the topic of “New spaces, new roles – leadership starts with you.” His speech invited the audience to reflect on their own roles in a changing world of work and to rethink leadership. The award ceremony was followed by a relaxed buffet and networking event – an ideal opportunity for exchange and new contacts within the real estate industry.

Proud of the achievements of FHWien graduates

Klemens Braunisch, program director of the Master’s program in Real Estate Management at FHWien der WKW, was delighted that the event was held at the university of applied science and emphasized the importance of such events for the industry: “We are very pleased that the ImmQu awards ceremony was held at FHWien der WKW this year. It is a wonderful recognition for our students and graduates, whose commitment and academic excellence are being honored here. Events like this not only strengthen the network within the real estate industry but also raise awareness of excellence in education and practice.
