How to Scale a Startup in the Space Tech Sector.
In this talk, alumna Kate Bodko will share hands-on lessons from experience working in a growing space tech startup. We’ll look at how to set the right foundations early, avoid common pitfalls, and create systems that actually scale. Topics will range from financial clarity and team structure to culture and leadership. The goal: give practical takeaways that students and graduates can apply to any ambitious startup journey, whether in deep tech or beyond.
About the Speaker:
Kate Bodko is a business generalist with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Executive Management graduated in 2021 at the FHWien der WKW. She has eight years of professional experience in entrepreneurship, consultancy and the corporate world. She is currently working for Vyoma in Munich – a Startup, building a space map with real-time debris monitoring and AI for safe satellite operations. She is leading HR and finance operations during the company’s most pivotal growth phase.
