Putting together a proposal for the first time can be daunting, but it is an essential skill for anyone conducting research. In this workshop we will consider what needs to be included, and why, before looking at a worked example and creating a framework which can be used for any future applications. The elements we will look at include: casting the study as a research gap, writing a literature review, dealing with methodology, and timelines. We will also consider the ethical implications of carrying out research and how to include these within a proposal. The workshop will be held in English.
