Inspired by the modern premises of the AirportCity Space, students from the Master’s program in Human Resources and Organizational Development discussed megatrends and their impact on HR development.
In January 2023, students from the Master’s program in Human Resources & Organizational Development visited Vienna Airport as part of the course “Strategic & International Human Resources Development”. At the end of the course, the focus was on the future of personnel development. Fittingly, the course took place in the newly constructed Office Park 4 – one of Austria’s most sustainable office buildings at Vienna Airport. The chief developer of AirportCity, Peter De Leeuw, gave the students an insight into the building and into office and working worlds of the future, such as the AirportCity Space – the new center for events, meetings and coworking. Inspired by the modern premises, exciting discussions arose on megatrends and their impact on HR development. The event was rounded off by an insight into a practical human resources development project at Flughafen Wien AG.
The AirportCity Space is considered to be Austria’s most creative workshop landscape and brings variety into the daily work routine. From a Heurigen, to a Ringelspiel, Würstelstand and much more – the unique and inspiring flair of the rooms surprised the students during the tour. The open and bright coworking area also creates the ideal environment for concentrated work alone or in teams for seminar or group work. The break areas and terraces encourage community interaction and invite networking.
Trial offer for students, lecturers and graduates FHWien der WKW (until July 2023): Based on the cooperation with AirportCity Space, one free taster day in the coworking space and up to two hours of meeting room use are available per person. Detailed information on the promotion can be found here.
