Students inspire Greenpower with communication concepts for employer branding

February 19, 2024

In the business field project of the Bachelor’s program in Corporate Communication, students developed recruiting campaigns to acquire new sales partners.

25 part-time students from the Bachelor’s program in Corporate Communication (3rd semester) presented their employer branding strategies for Greenpower, a leading Austrian company in the photovoltaics sector. To this end, they formed agency teams and spent an entire semester studying the photovoltaic industry and the recruitment of sales partners. The challenge was to strategically redesign the acquisition process.

One assignment – five creative concepts

The results of this intensive teamwork were five impressive concepts that are not only versatile but also extremely creative, from original advertising campaigns to the planning of exciting events and influencer marketing. The students put their theoretical knowledge, their skills and acquired know-how to the test on a real assignment. Our lecturers Hilda Helyes (Competence Center for Marketing) and Jakob Selinger supported the teams as coaches.

Excellent results for Greenpower management

The fresh ideas and innovative measures for the recruiting process were presented in a pitch to the clients in December. Greenpower Managing Director Thomas Strohschneider was delighted with the final presentations and congratulated them on their success:

“We were able to gain a lot of excellent impetus and new ideas from this business field project. The students are all winners and can be very proud of their work. We will certainly implement some of the inputs!”
