What influence do architecture and office design have on the culture of an organization? Students from the Master’s program in Organizational & Personnel Development pursued this exciting question and visited the ÖAMTC Mobility Centre in Vienna-Erdberg at the beginning of October.

In 2017, the club provided an important impulse for the future and opened a building that impressively embodies the ÖAMTC leitmotif “The human being at the center”. During the excursion, personnel developer Jutta Ableitinger from ÖAMTC provided valuable insights into the changes and special features at the intersection of architecture and culture. A guided tour through the new mobility center complemented the successful event, led by Dr. Barbara Covarrubias-Venegas.

Technological change, the associated digitalization of working environments, increasing global competition and the volatility of international markets call for networked collaboration, far from temporal and spatial borders. Therefore, the subject area of New Work Environments has been an important topic in the study program “Human Resources & Organization” for several years.
