The workshop “Sports Journalism” will take place from July 6-11, 2020 in small groups (TV/video or print/online) on the premises of the FHWien der WKW. The aim of the workshop is to impart the basic journalistic skills in order to work in a sports editorial office and to apply and refine these in practical projects. Sports journalists from the field complement the program and contribute their experience from different media companies.

This summer it’s “goals, metres and seconds” again and at the FHWien der WKW everything revolves once again around the dream profession of being a sports reporter. For the second time, participants will be given a comprehensive insight into the subject matter and acquire know-how with a hands-on mentality in the “Sports Journalism” workshop. Many years of experience in journalism training and the bundled competence of our lecturers from practical experience provide professional support and guarantee an excellent learning environment.

In two different courses (TV/video or print/online), professionals pass on their knowledge: from well-founded sports commentary or the right announcer, to outside filming or the perfect sports text, everything is included to gain an insight into sports journalism. Many experienced sports journalists such as Volker Piesczek, Alina Zellhofer or Mark-Michael Nanseck contribute their experience from various media companies, from which even established journalists benefit.

The workshop “Sports Journalism” will take place from July 6-1, 2020 in small groups on the premises of the FHWien der WKW – registrations will open soon.

If you would like to be informed about the start of registration, please send an informal e-mail to journalismus-teilnehmer@fh-wien.ac.at.
