Panel discussion on “Enterprises & Higher Education as a key partner for the Achievement of SDGs”

April, 12th 2018, 17.30 – 20.30

Dr. Katrin Muff (Business School Lausanne) will talk about the opportunities and challenges of enterprises and higher education institutions in addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Subsequently, a panel discussion will be held with participants from business (Biogena, Verbund), education, politics and lobbying. Afterwards CGBE invites you to network over a small buffet.

Faculty Development Seminar “Implementation of SDGs in Teaching”


April, 13th 2018, 9.00 – 17.00

Workshop for lecturers on the relevance of SDGs in the diverse fields, led by Ruth Nieffer, M. A. (HTW Chur), Karin Huber-Heim (FHW), Dr. Daniela Ortiz (FHW). The workshop will provide an insight into potential strategies for the practical implementation of SDGs in teaching.

An important task of the Center for Corporate Governance & Business Ethics is to enhance interdisciplinary dialogue with regard to business ethical aspects. A particular interest of ours is to strengthen the principles of responsible and sustainable management in the awareness of our students about how they act. FHWien is also a member of the international network PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education).
