Maija Worek’s presentation at Brown Bag Research Meeting

Maija Worek from the Human Resources & Organization Study Programs presented her doctoral dissertation topic at the Brown Bag Research Meeting.

At the Brown Bag Research Meeting on June 12, 2018, Maija Worek presented her doctoral dissertation topic “Exploring Modes of Growth of Family Businesses: M&A and Internationalization”. She presented her topic on a general level as well as her recent publications in ranked journals and conferences, including a literature review and empirical studies. After the presentation, the participants were invited to discuss the topic.

The concept of Brown Bag Meetings originates from the USA. They are informal meetings where research topics can be discussed on a comprehensible level. The meetings are organized 3-4 times each term by the Research Cluster SMEs & Family Businesses.
