Maija Worek and Barbara Covarrubias Venegas at the EURAM 2018 Conference in Iceland

Maija Worek and Barbara Covarrubias Venegas were pleased that their paper on the impact of desk sharing on employee commitment was well received at this year’s EURAM Conference

The European Academy of Management (EURAM) is one of the most prestigious management conferences in Europe, providing an excellent platform for international scientific networking and exchange. The conference took place from June 19-23, 2018, in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik, breaking the record with around 1700 participants from over 65 countries.

The paper entitled “Mind Your Space: Desk Sharing and Employee Commitment” by Maija Worek and Barbara Covarrubias Venegas from Department of Management, was written based on the thesis of Sonja Thury – an alumna from the department. The article discusses the impact of desk sharing on employee commitment and highlights countless implications for management practice.
