Logistics Real Estate Under the Microscope

June 18, 2026

The final monthly field trip of this semester took students from the Real Estate Management Study Programs to the Flexiparks Wien Nord I and II business parks in Stockerau on June 11. The field trip was led by our alumna Antonia Vrcic, who had overseen the projects from the very beginning in her previous role at Modesta Real Estate.

In addition to a guided tour, the students gained insights into the development of modern commercial and logistics real estate. Using these two projects as examples, they learned how the various phases of a real estate project — from development through marketing to occupancy — interlock.

Flexible Commercial Space for Diverse Needs

The Flexiparks Wien Nord I and II were developed for companies seeking flexible space for warehousing, logistics, services, or offices. A variety of warehouse sizes and customizable space concepts demonstrate how modern commercial real estate responds to current market demands.

This provided the students with an opportunity to connect theoretical concepts from their studies with a concrete real-world example and to learn about current developments in the commercial real estate market.
