Researchers and conference experts discussed the submitted themes, e.g. about complaint management in social media, safety at congress destinations or special experiences at conferences and the needs of generation Y, at the Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen Vienna. Every thesis was reviewed in detail by 6 people regarding relevance and benefits for the industry as well as quality of the content.

In her Bachelor thesis Jessica Huf examines various possibilities of how to create special experiences at congresses. The thesis contains a comprehensive literature research as well as five interviews with Austrian organizers of economic congresses showing which possibilities are used in reality. It is shown that design, interior decoration, scientific programs and framework programs have a high potential for creating special experiences.
