From May 17-18, 2018, FHWien der WKW hosted this year’s edcom annual conference. The highlight of the two days was the project presentations for the client Amnesty International. 90 student teams from 13 nations were tasked with developing a campaign to increase the awareness of citizens and companies on the topic of migration, to convey the perception of the living conditions of refugees and to create awareness-raising measures for social and economic interaction. Three student teams from France and Great Britain were selected as finalists.
The outstanding concept “in the name of refugees” presented by the students of the Ecole Supérieure de Publicité (France) was the winning campaign. The aim is to encourage the target group to restore their dignity by naming them and giving them identity.
