In line with the motto “Study the practice”, the two tax experts Ing. Phillip Andert, LL.B. (WU) MSc (WU) and MMag. Peter Hofmann from the tax consulting firm TPA gave a guest lecture at the FH Wien der WKW as part of the specialization “Tax Consulting.
The students in the 5th semester of the Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting & Taxation thus gained an insight into the topic of “Liabilities and Provisions in Balance Sheet Tax Law”.
Together with the students, numerous topics from practice were discussed in the lecture, whereby it quickly became apparent that especially in the area of accruals there are always exciting issues to be solved. The experts were able to answer numerous questions and thus give the students a good insight into the practical application of taxation.
