How does ORF create a safe working environment and ensure equal opportunities? The resignation of former ORF Director General Roland Weißmann following allegations of sexual harassment involving a female employee has reignited the debate about preventing such incidents. What do prevention strategies look like, and what mechanisms come into play when allegations arise?
ORF’s Equal Opportunities Officer, Katia Rössner, will join us to provide a brief introduction to the topic, followed by an open discussion with participants.
As a public service broadcaster and a major player in the media landscape, ORF has a particular responsibility to serve as a role model, including in socially important areas such as gender equality. Katia Rössner, ORF’s Equal Opportunities Officer, will share insights into this topic and lead a discussion as part of the “Public Value Lectures” series.
