Around 35 lecturers from FHWien der WKW took part in the Teaching & Learning Centre’s (TLC) Teaching Event, both in person and online. Under this year’s theme, ‘Shaping future-proof, sustainable teaching’, the focus was on current challenges and new approaches to competence-based higher education teaching. Andreas Zitek (Forum Neue Medien in der Lehre Austria) provided valuable food for thought with his keynote speech on the topic “How can critical AI literacy be promoted in higher education teaching?”. The subsequent discussions and collegial exchange during the “speed chatting” sessions offered a wealth of inspiration for participants’ own teaching practice and contributed to networking and exchange across disciplines.
