Günter Ogris (SORA Institute) was a guest speaker at the study program “Journalism and Mediamanagement”
The results of the study “Demokratiemonitor“ were presented and discussed in the lecture „Modul Spezialisierungen“ at the Department of Communication organized together with the Public Value Competence Center of ORF. How can Public Service Media fulfill the mission of supporting democratic politics? How can Public Service Media develop and innovate during the digitalization and fragmentation of the media landscape? Those were questions asked by Konrad Mitschka, ORF Public Value Competence Center and Gisela Reiter, Teaching & Research Associate at FHWien der WKW based on the main results of the study. Due to the wide interest, further lectures are planned with experts discussing current issues linked to digitalization, media and politics. The study is available (German) here.
