Double Degree with UIC Barcelona in Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Private Equity
On November 23, 2018, Professor Rafael Tena, program director of the Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Private Equity at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) in Barcelona presented his program to FHWien students. With its focus on venture capital and private equity, the program is quite unique in Europe.
FHWien students have the opportunity to do a double degree with UIC Barcelona as part of their MA in Financial Management and Controlling. To earn an additional Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Private Equity, they spend a semester at UIC Barcelona, following the courses in the Master’s program, do an internship in a relevant professional field and write a MA thesis jointly supervised by faculty from UIC Barcelona and FHWien der WKW.
Professor Tena was supported in this presentation by a graduate of the double degree, who told the audience about his experiences at UIC Barcelona and how the double degree helped his Career.
