Simon Lehrner and Matthew Urmston from our Competence Center for Business English were proud to recently present at the most important annual conference in Europe for English instructors. They attended the 55th International IATEFL Conference and Exhibition in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where they held a presentation entitled “Designing engagement: A case study for playful remote Business English”.
The conference lasted four days, so aside from presenting, they were able to attend many engaging talks and workshops as well. Evenings were spent networking and exploring the city with its many diverse pubs, restaurants featuring cuisine from around the world, and beautiful neighborhoods and city parks. And there were even a few moments when it didn’t rain!
