How companies can build effective resilience

Our alumni Vivian Lösch and Markus Schwinghammer have founded Austria’s first consulting firm specializing in disinformation and information manipulation. In the Alumni Talk, they discuss their work at their company, Disinfo Consulting.

During the talk, participants will learn,

  • how companies are affected by disinformation and information manipulation, and how they can protect themselves against them.
  • how resilient companies can contribute to society-wide resilience against disinformation and information manipulation.
  • who engages in information manipulation and stands to gain from it.
  • what communication methods are used to create and spread disinformation.
  • why disinformation and information manipulation are currently flourishing.

Markus Schwinghammer studied Communication Management at FHWien der WKW and, at the same time, Political Science at the University of Vienna. After graduating, he first worked at the Office of the Federal Chancellor and then at the Parliamentary Administration.
