Practical Perspectives: Join this free taster seminar to get an impression about what sustainability communication is all about!
Leyla Tavernaro-Haidarian will outline CSR and sustainability communication in the first part of this seminar and then will explore real campaigns with the participants to critically assess impact. This will give participants a taster for the new program MA (CE) International Sustainability Communication.

Lecturer: Dr. Leyla Tavernaro-Haidarian
Leyla is a senior research associate with the Department of Communication at the University of Johannesburg and is currently based back in Vienna, where she grew up. Leyla consults for the United Nations by serving as a faculty member of the UNSSC Leadership, Women and the UN program and as an education and gender specialist for the UNODC. Her areas of research and expertise include media/communication, leadership and ethics. She recently lectured for the University of Stellenbosch Business School MBA program in Managing International Organizations and will be lecturing in the first semester in the module “Global Communication Theories”. | ![]() |
Registration
Participation is completely free of charge for those interested in the MA (CE) International Sustainability Communication. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. A quick registration is therefore recommended by Februar 17, 2023. Please note that participants are not obliged to enrol in the program even after participating in the taster seminar.
Certificate
The participants of each group who present their critical analysis at the end of the seminar receive a course certificate.
