Das erwartet Sie in der Schreibwerkstatt:

angeleitete Schreibphasen mit Pausen und Übungen
ruhiger und klimatisierter Arbeitsplatz, konzentrierte Atmosphäre
flexible Teilnahme mit Vormittags- und Nachmittagsterminen
professioneller Support durch das Schreibzentrum
Gesellschaft und gemeinsame Reflexion
begleitende Unterlagen und Selbstlernmaterialien

Woche 1: 3.-7. August: 10:00-14:00

Woche 2: 10.-14. August: 14:00-18:00

Die Anmeldung zu den Workshops des Schreibzentrums erfolgt über Moodle.

Sie können selbst entscheiden, ob Sie an einer oder beiden Wochen teilnehmen möchten. Die Teilnahme ist auch an einzelnen Tagen möglich. Bei weniger als 5 Anmeldungen behalten wir uns die Absage der Veranstaltung vor.

Digital Real Estate Day

The Real Estate Management Study Programs, in cooperation with Ivalu, the digital expert for real estate companies, will offer a comprehensive program especially for part-time real estate students and young professionals.

Relevant players of the Prop-Tech scene present their solutions for the current and concrete problems of the real estate industry and show how they will change the industry in the long term.

At the CEO Meet Ups during the breaks, all participants will have the unique opportunity to network and exchange ideas with well-known players in the industry.

The event will be rounded off with a panel discussion – where it will be shown what the “right” way into the future looks like.

Award ceremony of the Journalism Young Talent Award 2026

The award for journalists in training

The Journalism Young Talent Award of FHWien der WKW will be presented for the eighth in 2026. The award aims to support aspiring journalists at the start of their careers and offers them a platform to present themselves to the industry and a wider audience.

A prize of EUR 500 will be awarded in each category. In addition, the Austrian Media Academy (ÖMA) will provide the winner of the category “Best Thesis” with a place in a seminar of their choice.

All submitted works will be evaluated by an expert jury consisting, for each category, of two industry representatives as well as the respective heads of department of FHWien der WKW.

Following the award ceremony, we invite you to a champagne reception to celebrate the winners of the evening. For planning purposes, we kindly ask you to register in advance.

Get to know our campus and talk to students: During our campus tour followed by “Meet a Student”, you will gain personal insights into studying at FHWien der WKW, Austria’s Leading University of Applied Sciences for Management and Communication.

We will guide you through the campus and show you lecture halls, study and common areas for students, our library, and our TV and radio studio, among other facilities.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to meet students from ÖH FHWien and ask the questions that truly matter to you: What is everyday student life like? What is it like to start studying here? How much practical experience is included in the study program? And what should you know before applying?
