In the first years after its formation the innovative FHWien study programme “Kommunikationswirtschaft” (“Corporate Communication”) of the WKW (Vienna Economic Chamber) focused primarily on implementing and positioning the study programme. Up to now it has only been possible to allocate limited resources to establishing and expanding international contacts and cooperations.
Investing in this area has now become a priority owing to the seminal nature of the subject “communication management” and the already existing international interest in this field. Therefore we decided to establish an EU network for the special field of communication management together with the partners Hogeschool van Utrecht, NL, and Helsinki Business Polytechnic, FI.

• Strengthening the positioning of the study programme as an attractive partner for cooperations, starting the establishment of an EU network
• Know-how transfer among the academic institutions involved and advancement in the subject of communication management as well as in the field of teaching and didactics.
• Establishment and expansion of attractive & innovative, lasting offerings for all stakeholders: students (especially working students), lecturers and bodies of the individual academic institutions.
