International orientation
In the worldwide education market, the ongoing process of globalisation requires universities to make ever more intense internationalisation efforts. It can no longer be considered sufficient to offer an education tailored only to the needs of the domestic labour market. All over the world, students and graduates are expected to have extensive intercultural experience and high-level skills in foreign languages.
The FHWien University of Applied Sciences of WKW has responded to these demands with a wide variety of international activities designed to meet the objectives of the Bologna Process, which calls for the creation of a European space for higher education. As a result, students at the FHWien University of Applied Sciences of WKW have numerous opportunities to acquire key qualifications in the form of business, social and communication skills for international careers.
