Real Estate

An academic education for real estate generalists
Demanding customers in real estate transactions are becoming less and less willing to consult a wide variety of specialists, none of whom possess comprehensive knowledge of the industry. Our graduates are academically qualified generalists in the field of real estate who can offer solutions to various problems from a single source. Upon completing the programme, students are awarded the academic degree of Magistra/Magister (FH) for professions in business and economics.
Not least due to the ongoing process of European integration, it has become necessary to rethink career profiles in Austria's real estate sector. Our eight-semester diploma programme in Real Estate offers Vienna's first comprehensive, interdisciplinary course in real estate at the university level. The course of study is offered as an evening programme and is dedicated to enhancing the value of Austria as a real estate location. Through instruction, research and the placement of graduates, the programme makes a substantial contribution to increasing professionalism in the Austrian real estate sector. The programme also serves as a catalyst for the implementation of international developments on the Austrian market. In this context, the Real Estate diploma programme sees itself as a producer of critical know-how for the real estate sector. As a result, we also make a major contribution to strengthening current professional profiles and developing new ones in the real estate field.
