Business Management

Starting in autumn 2007, the diploma programme in Business Management at the FHWien University of Applied Sciences will be offered as a three-year bachelor's degree programme in Entrepreneurship [3].* Students currently enrolled in the diploma programmes will be able to complete their studies and will not be affected by the transition.

A sound general education in business

The diploma programme in Business Management offers a challenging, comprehensive and interdisciplinary education in business administration. Combined with their high-level personal, communication and organisational skills, our graduates' general expertise in business administration opens up a broad range of professional opportunities, for example in executive management, subsidiary management, project and quality management, controlling or self-employment.

The Business Management programme was launched as an evening programme at the FHWien University of Applied Science of WKW in 1996. Since autumn 2001, the programme has also offered a daytime option. In the daytime programme, students can also choose between a programme in German language or a bilingual programme, in which up to 50% of classes are held in English. In the fifth semester, students in the daytime programme are required to complete a professional placement in order to gain real-world business experience.
