Journalism & Media Management

The degree programme in Journalism & Media Management sees itself as a leading institution of higher education for journalists and media managers. As the only programme of its kind in Vienna, our course of study offers an optimal combination of theory and practice: Our students learn from the best instructors in the field, including Austria's leading journalists and media managers. In this way, students often get to know their future employers during their studies.

The study programme also involves a number of professional placements in Austria's top media companies. Work in the classroom is also highly relevant to real-world practice: for example, journalism students produce their own online magazine [3] (in German) during their studies.
